Laura was born in San Blas, Nayarit, Mexico, but at an early age moved to the State of Michoacán where she grew up until the age of 15. She then she moved to the United States with her parents and sisters. She has been an Oregon resident for almost 20 years and she graduated from Woodburn High School in 2000. Laura obtained her AA degree from Chemeketa Community College in 2002 and was one of the first recipients of the College Assistant Migrant Program (CAMP) scholarship.
She has worked closely with the Latino community for many years now including working for several years at Canby School District as a Parent Liaison and Translator and Interpreter and now helping our community with their personal injury claims. Laura has been in the Eugene area for almost 5 years after moving from Wilsonville. She enjoys going to the movies, cooking, dancing, and spending time with her son. Laura started working as a Receptionist for our firm back in December 2013 and is now the Legal Assistant for attorney Sánchez in the personal injury department. Since December 2014, Laura has been a certified notary in the State of Oregon.
